Whole Wheat Tortillas

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons warm water

Mix all ingredients together by hand and knead until smooth.  Divide dough equally into 8 pieces and roll into balls.  Roll out each ball of dough in 6-8 inch rounds.  Heat a skillet to medium heat and lightly oil with coconut oil.  Cook each tortilla about 30 seconds on first side, and 15 seconds on the other when flipped.  Cover the cooked tortillas to keep warm while cooking the rest.  Serve warm.
