Crockpot Yogurt

  • 1/2 gallon whole milk
  • 1/2 cup yogurt

Turn crockpot on low and heat 1/2 gallon of milk for 2 hours and 30 minutes.  Unplug crockpot and let milk cool for 3 hours.  Remove 1-2 cups of milk and add 1/2 cup yogurt. Mix, return to milk and whisk.  Wrap crockpot in bath towel and let sit 8-12 hours.  Refrigerate 8 hours before using.
